Environmental Commitment

LaserCom is aware of the responsibility the corporate sector faces in maintaining environmentally sustainable operations. The pressures on our environment and the current emphasis on environmental awareness are real; they’re not a passing fad and not just going to disappear.

Addressing environmental matters is essential in order to exist as a business today and LaserCom is deeply committed to this cause.

We have begun our journey into making our facilities environmentally friendly and are constantly looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint, both now and in the future. This is an ongoing company objective.

As a large digital printing bureauand envelope manufacturer, we use many tons of paper to print and mail monthly statements and other documents. Part of our environmental focus is to use SAPPI paper with a recycled content (50%) wherever possible, as well as to promote the use of this product among our customers.

Recycled paper is manufactured to ISO 9001: 2000 certified procedures. There is no compromise in performance when it is used in high speed printers.

In addition, all LaserCom waste paper is shredded and compacted to be recycled into pulp for re-use in future paper products.
